Devices repel mosquitoes that can carry the Zika virus
BEDFORD, Mass. (July 26, 2016) — Thermacell Repellents, Inc., a leading manufacturer of area mosquito repellent products, has received approval from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recognizing Thermacell products as an effective repellent for mosquitoes that carry the Zika virus. Thermacell has been certified to repel the Aedes mosquito, which in addition to Zika, transmits a number of diseases including West Nile Virus, Dengue, Chikungunya, Yellow Fever and Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE) Virus.
